Connie Britton - Buried Under Lyrics

The new song from the cast of Nashville and here's the lyrics:

Connie Britton/Rayna James - Buried Under

Buried Under

I wish that I didnt have to see
A confidant as a enemy
Common lies and,
The lines you cross
helplessly I can only watch

Dodging words as they ricochet
Honesty, that'll never pay
Your convictions, I believe
Like an apparition haunting me

Now, truth is a ball and chain
Holding my conscience to the flame
Covered up but still I know
Secret of the life you're guilty of,
Smoking gun is what I found
The dirt I have on you,
Is the ground

Ooh, I'm buried under

Try to tread through sink and sand,
In your way, you know i can't stand
What I thought was meant to be,
Is a broken heart weighing over me

Now, truth is a ball and chain
Holding my conscience to the flame
Covered up but still I know
Secret of the life you're guilty of,
Smoking gun is what I found
The dirt I have on you,
Is the ground

Ooh, buried under
I'm buried under (2x)

Can you fall for the wings of a dove
When the clever wolf is the one you love

Now, truth is a ball and chain
Holding my conscience to the flame
Covered up but still I know
Secret of the life you're guilty of,
Smoking gun is what I found
The dirt I have on you,
Is the ground

Ooh, I'm buried under

I wish that I didnt have to see
A confidant as a enemy

Nashville

First of all I should let you guys know that I watch a lot of TV Shows (American), like more than 20 per week. And I watch almost all the shows of FALL, WINTER and SPRING.

Nashville, an American Musical Drama TV Series created by Callie Khouri, is a must-watch TV Show this season. The first thing I love about this show is that it's out of the box. All the other shows have so clichéd and predictable story lines, and frankly what’s the point of watching shows that doesn't grow and become even better.

I'll indicate a few reasons why Nashville is a good show.
1. It belongs to a Musical Drama Genre.
2. The characters' names are new and they sound pretty good. Frankly I'm tired with all the old, common ones i.e. NATE, DAN, SAM, MATT, ALEX, EMILY, CARRIE, AMANDA etc.
3. The plot is a combination of Politics and Country Music and sure it doesn't sound like a good combination, but watching it makes you think different.
4. Every episode brings at least four songs in it.
5. Every episode has a new story line that makes the characters more interesting.

NASHVILLE follows the three female leads, first "Rayna Jaymes" (Portrayed by Connie Britton) whose fame as "Queen of Country Music" is fading, second "Juliet Barnes" (Portrayed by Hayden Panettiere) the best-selling country music singer, and the third Scarlet O'Connor (Portrayed by Clare Bowen) whose career in music is just beginning. From the politics side, the first is Teddy Conrad, Rayna's Husband, currently running for the Mayor of Nashville and trying to hide his past. And the second is Lamar Wyatt, Rayna's powerful, wealthy and controlling father who disapproves of her.

This description may not be the best, but seeing is believing, so you gotta watch it till you know it.
